Port Explorer was developed on workstations in a 100mbs/sec Local Area
Network and heavily stress tested with flood and packet connections both locally
and remotely to ensure stability and reliability.

tested to ensure maximum reliability and accuracy.
Multi-Threaded Engine
Port Explorer uses an advanced thread control system to maximise the
performance of minimal threads to maintain a low background profile. CPU usage
typically sits at 0 - 5%, depending on Port Explorer configuration and system
hardware.
Small Memory Footprint
Port Explorer was designed to use as little memory as possible, but also
comes with a Reduce Memory Usage setting that significantly lowers the memory
usage by adjusting Port Explorer's working set size.
Fits on a floppy
Port Explorer is developed in C++ with inline assembly and compiled with
optimising compilers so although it's a powerful program with many built-in
utilities, it's still small enough to fit on a single 1.44mb floppy disk.
